Overhead, at this moment and every moment since our planet began to spin and circle the Sun, the view is changing. The star constellations of the zodiac are marching across the sky. Somewhere out there, though you may not see them, the planets are tracing their way through the constellations as well. The moon, waxing and waning, rising and setting, moves through the constellations and during the year, so does our star--the Sun. Each of these things produces its own energy, its own moments of directed potential, and every second changes that mixture as each planet migrates and interacts with the dance of every other planet. The view, the geometry of motion around you is entirely dependent upon where on this big, beautiful Earth you happen to be standing. You are not the same as everyone born with the Sun in the same zodiac sign. You are not the same as someone born at the exact day and moment you were, either. Your astrological essence is uniquely yours, complex, and powerful. The pattern overhead at the moment of your birth will not be repeated for about 25,000 years!

You were born into this embodied life and at the moment of your first breath, you inhaled the energies of the planets, the Sun, the Moon mid-dance in the sky--both visible and hidden below the horizon.
