I think last year I had a sort of library epiphany when I realized that I could haul home giant bags of books on any little research and reading whim I had and it was all free and harmed no one (trees included) in the process. It was as if I was the first person who discovered the library and its wonders. ;) How quickly I forget and how easy the internet makes it for me to click, "Buy!". :D
Good luck with your crockpot experiment. I'm winging it on the assumption that soup is, at heart, impossible to screw up. It might be a strange mix, but after cooking for eight hours, I'm thinking it'll all turn out okay. :) That's the working theory, anyways.
