Fable Trible: Doctor Who Update is Live!

The Fable Tribe had a small update today of Doctor Who inspired Glamourkin pendants and TARDIS blue star-filled blessing bowls. It's pretty spectacularly happy and inspiring stuff. This year's cash crunch has eased quite a bit, now that we're in the process of moving and have sold off our (disastrously money-sapping) rental properties here in Illinois. I splurged this afternoon and bought myself two pieces I really, really love.


This blessing bowl, for ever returning, was perfect for me. Doctor Who, yes, but also an affirmation of my belief in reincarnation, in the knowledge that I, too, am for ever returning, and maybe, if that's true, I can be forgiven for my flaws, given space and compassion to grow and transform and return again.


I bought this book shaped Glamourkin. I love everything about it. I don't know if it's me doing the shining or me being promised some reinforcing light (probably both), but I love the Sun magick of it all and that's very much what this move and the past year or two feel like to me. Lots and lots of sun magick, of sovereignty and light and growth and sustaining warmth.

I was wondering, when I saw all these bowls, if they could be part of transforming your Bed of Blue into a Bedroom of Blue. :D I'm so glad you were able to get one!

Haaa. ONE DAY. It will be endless quest. Though the altar dedicated to Muladhara (the root chakra), with it's glaring vibrant RED everywhere, might frown at me. But It's fine. It has its space, and everything else can slowly be morphed into blue.

I'm totally torn with where it will end up, at home or at work, because finally I've started magiking up my desk. First there was my little green divinity, and she stayed in her happy blue bowl with the beads and gold ribbon from the class, all from Blue Moon. And now there's your card, and a burnished gold star token from an RCG-related new years party, that says "Achieve" on it. And the pages of my day calendar are so inspirational, so I keep cutting off the numbers and keeping the artsy inspirational parts.

So I'm also tempted to take it to work, and mostly I just want to pet the blue-silver already!

I cannot tell you how jump-up-and-down-shrieking-and-hugging-you I feel about your job. That's not my usual response to things but if you were here when that news was shared that would have been it. Jumping and shrieking quite out of character.

The mental image I have of you nesting in with all the things that matter to you and inspire you and the fact that you have some stability and certainty and growth and PROOF POSITIVE of how much you are valued and needed and appreciated?

I meant to get a blessing bowl because TARDIS FREAKING BLUE (and also stars!) but missed out on those. Ah, well. The two pendants were a real treat to find still waiting for me to pick them up. :)
