VIZZINI
Inconceivable! A very fine wine indeed, most definitely stolen, laced with odorless, tasteless, deadly iocane powder. Or is it? Let the battle of wits commence!

I only bought a sample size of this Princess Bride-inspired perfume at The Misery/Love Company. It sounded like more of a playful themed experiment than a wearable fragrance. I expected it to be a dry red wine. Testing it, though, has totally changed my mind! It goes on with a light, effervescent fruit quality, like a sweet pear sparkling wine I had this summer. On drydown, it stays golden, like peals of delighted laughter with a backdrop of crystalized grape candy. Very cheerful scent for such a deadly drink!

I know Rhiannon has her shop on vacation. When she gets back, though, I'm buying a bottle!

I'm so glad they're working out well for you! I looked through the scents but didn't have much money at the time, but I was able to snag some from the Glamourkin update. Now I'm anxiously waiting for the shop to reopen~

Oh, I hope you have equal success! The creator and I share a lot of perfume viewpoints and favorite notes, I think, so it seems like the percentage of "keepers" from her collections is way higher than when I buy from BPAL or Arcana.

I have to budget better for her updates. :D

Since I already have a request to bring a certain bottle *coughMARTHAcough*, I can bring others if wanted. So far I have decanted: one bottle each of Bastian, Uyulala, Buttercup, Vizzini, and The Butterfly, then imps of Mommy Fortuna and Colin Craven. I don't think I'm sleeping tonight so I have time for requests! ;) I'm probably also going to bring an imp set or two of the Fairyland scents for sampling, because, you know, you guys are doing the reviews, so I might as well keep milking you for them, good or bad. Feedback is nice, no matter which direction it goes in. It helps me get better!

So, anything else I need to remember to pack? My brain is asplodey.

Rhi gets in at 1:40pm. Daniel and I got stuck on a later flight for $ reasons (:/) which doesn't get in until like 5:30pm. I'll email everybody house info, but it is in Greenwood which looks like it's almost 3 hours away from Buffalo.

There are other renters in it right now, so we can't go there until after 4pm.

What I suggest, if y'all agree, is that you pick up Rhi and drive to Greenwood ahead of us. The directions to getting into the house included some shady things like climbing through a woodshed and pulling on a clothesline, so I think if you can get there before dark it'd probably be a good plan. (Or, can you bring a flashlight or something? We're supposed to be in the middle of nowhere, so it might be super dark there to find our way in!)

We'll land at 5:30 (weather permitting), get our rental car, install the babyseat and drive straight out. So yeah, we won't get there until 9 or 10pm, I imagine.

So. Today I'll mail you the house address and all the other info I have about it (and getting in and the keycode) and you can decide when you want to get there. It might also be a good idea, if you can, to stop for a few supplies/groceries on your way in--at least for breakfast the first day since D&I are getting in too late to stock the house.

I was looking at Farm Sanctuary, and they have some tours available on Sunday from like 11-3pm. Or we could go hiking or drive somewhere else or just stay at the house and explore it. :) Our opportunities are endless.

What do you think? Did you have any thoughts on plans? :)

I know that I would love, love, LOVE to do a ritual with you both. Maybe like a belated Mabon/Thanksgiving one? And you know what would be the best thing in the world? Making a "Thanksgiving" Vegan feast/dinner together. We're all family, and celebrating that together would make me ridiculously happy--more than I can say.

But that's just me, and I'm willing to and would love to do anything. <33333

I tested Bastian last night, too, and laughed and laughed and laughed. It is a squished sack lunch! :D I felt about eight years old wearing it. :D

It was just a dab, so I'll have to post a real review once I test it proper. But yeah, cute stuff! :D
