iPhone update
Jan. 10th, 2010 11:00 amI'm in the emergency room this morning. Woke up in the worst pain of my life, cold sweats, vomiting. I had to crawl back to bed to wake up D. Bad, bad, bad. So far they've found a large kidney stone and are running more tests to see what else I might have. The stone they did find is on the side thAt doesn't hurt, so that's why I'm still here getting poked and prodded. Thank the world for iv and painkillers. Yuck. Can't wait to get out!
UPDATE: Six hours later, I was released. They found me to have a massive urinary tract infection as well as the big ole kidney stone. I have antibiotics, painkillers, and a referral to see a urologist to deal with the stone. Do not want. Painkillers, on the otherhand, were a welcome gift along with all the iv fluids. This was my only hospital visit in life excepting G's birth. Nurses are my new heroes.
UPDATE: Oh, and that stone? The diameter of a nickel. Owww! I have no idea what to expect to pass/remove that.
