Read This LJ!

boyzici writes one of the most interesting LiveJournals ever. Every year, or so, he spends a few weeks in a Tanzanian village. He posts lots of photos and videos of his work there. He works with the blind primarily, ensures that children have school uniforms and that families have food. He's like a one-man humanitarian endeavour and it is *amazing* what he has been able to accomplish with the odd contributions of other LJ readers. He helps set up micro-businesses and each year returns to see how things in the village are going.
You don't have to friend him if you don't want to but I strongly encourage you to read a few of his entries--he's just wrapping up his most recent trip back. It is a whole 'nother world and he's pretty meticulous and entertaining, insightful and warm-hearted in his reporting of it.

Date: 2011-03-30 05:54 pm (UTC)Hey can you post a pic of the back of the baby quilt in your etsy store? I was going to convo you but I can't remember my etsy password.
BTW it's not vintage but still a very good price for it. The kit came out around 1999 and is still for sale. It's bucilla/plaid Kit No. 41194. The kit itself is about $30 so with all the work done on it it's probably worth a lot more than $40.

Date: 2011-03-31 11:32 am (UTC)I'd be happy to send it to you. The back is nice and neat. You don't have to buy it from me. :) (Though you do have to email me your address again--just in case.)
As for a striped MLP--I know of three of them besides the pink zebra friend I have. Let me find them. :)
Ah, here they are. These Colorswirl Ponies (http://www.kimsites.net/dreamvalley/10th_edition_ponies2.html#colorswirl_ponies) were made the last year of My Little Pony's Generation 1 production. :) Is that what you had?
